LWF conducts internal training to improve program performance

LWF staff attending the training faciliated by Finance Manager, Michael Atwiinee

As part of LWF capacity building program activities, an internal systems training aimed at improving administrative and programmatic support was conducted in Kakuma. The training covered operational processes in finance and procurement which are critical to program implementation.

During the training, participants familiarized with a new procurement plan developed to enhance efficiency in operations. The new procurement system electronically consolidates requirements from the programs team determining timeframes when items will be procured to assist in implementation processes.  It will also help in ensuring accountability and transparency in procurement systems. With the skills acquired through the training, LWF staff will be able to meet their responsibilities ensuring an improved service provision in communities served.

LWF Kenya – Somalia Program is committed to ensuring successful implementation of projects while enhancing accountability through effective monitoring and procurement tools.
