Humanitarian Crisis
Conflict and Natural Disaster

We assist refugees and displaced people from areas affected by conflict and natural disaster. The programme reaches to Persons of Concern (PoCs) who have fled their countries from over 18 nationalities including; Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea,  Rwanda, Congo, Burundi, Uganda and South Sudan among others. The fighting in South Sudan has internally displaced 1.1 million people. Around four million people face alarming food insecurity. Over 405,000 have fled to neighbouring countries like Kakuma camp in Kenya. Somalia and Ethiopia rank near the bottom of the Human Development Index, more than 80 percent of the population live in rural areas and rely heavily on rain-fed agriculture for their livelihoods.
