Refugee Assistance Project Impact Report

Kakuma Area Program

The Refugee Assistance project targeted 84,594 direct beneficiaries (79,773 refugees, 2,629 non-refugees) and 105,000 indirect beneficiaries (refugees) in Nada pal Transit Center, Kakuma Refugee Camps and the host community. The project was Year One, of a two-year project. It was implemented from 1 August 2019 through 31 July 2020.

This report is an update on impacts achieved as of the end of March 2020. It is three quarters of the way through the 12-month implementation project of the first of two years. It was funded in part by a grant from the US Department of State.
